Solve the 5 letter word puzzle. A random 5 letter word is picked by the app for you to solve. Enter or select from a list of 5 letter words. With each attempt you get closer to solving by letting you know how many letters you got correct in your guess word. You don't know which letters are correct but you can start to figure it out with the process of elimination. The fewer the moves it takes you to solve the puzzle the higher you rank. TIPS: Start with words like MONEY and then HONEY. If MONEY has 1 correct and HONEY has none, then you know M is good and H you can rule out. So you mark off H on the left menu and type M on one of the empty 5 boxes above. Your list of submitted words constantly changes colors with letters you commit or rule out. Green is commit and red is ruled out. It is golden when you hit a word with none correct because you can mark off all the letters for sure. You commit letters above in the 5 boxes by clicking and typing the letter on the box. This marks that letter green on the left and in your submitted word list. You can undo the commit by select the letter on the left menu. As you rule out and commit letters, look at your older submitted words for the black color letters. Some letters you was previously unsure of will be clear now if the letter can be committed or ruled out. Once you start getting the 5 boxes filled above you can drag them around to change the order. The game becomes an anagram puzzle at that point. When you drag them in the correct order then you are a winner. On rare occasions, it may seem you can only commit less than 5 letters. This could be because the secret word has more than one of the same letter. You may need to enter guess words with the same letters to test. Like if "PUPPY" shows 3 correct and you have ruled out U and Y then you know your secret word has three Ps in it. Hence, if PUPPY has only 2 correct then there are two Ps in the secret word. Good luck, It gets addictive!
